Vince Chen: Very cute and friendly owner. Food here was fantastic! Owner gave us free pompushkies to try and I instantly feel in love and bought half a dozen. Perogies were also delicious with caramelized onions and bacon, topped with the sour cream.
Sylvia Beck “Sevala” created Sevala’s- A taste of Ukraine in 1985 when she began selling perogies and cabbage rolls to friends, family, and neighbours. She converted her garage into a licensed commercial kitchen at her home on Day Street in Transcona and began to focus on bulk sales & catering.

Justin: Come here often, always delicious. Staff is friendly and the restaurant is clean. Typical pita pit fare, and the veggies always look/taste fresh. I come here once a week or more and always leave satisfied. They also have GoodLife and military discounts.
Kim Money: ordered the perogy lunch for a 30+ office and there were lots of positive comments about the food. Very good and easy to work with for ordering. We will be back.
